Written from 2002 to 2005, "Early in the Decade" is a lo-fi demo EP by aspiring musician Imee. It is a summary of her feelings as a high school teen and a heartbroken college student. Recording sessions happened from 2004 to 2010, inside her home in Quezon City, Philippines.
Dazed & Confused - Written in 2002, partially as a joke, the song also showcases feelings of betrayal many teenage women could relate to. This is the only song Imee has performed live, and one of the first she's ever written. With a catchy tune to match, it is the most well-known song of Imee to date.
Even Angels Fall - A coming-of-age story written in 2002 about how not being perfect & making mistakes will lead you into who you really are.
Let Me Bleed - Demoed in 2005, this is one of the most personal songs Imee has written.
Disconnected - It's a letter from anybody to anyone they loved who's ever disappointed them, whether it's a family, a friend, anyone...
Worthless - This version is a treat - an a cappella version of the first few lines - that closes the EP out perfectly. Written in 2004 about a strange love triangle.
